Unfortunately I did not receive any feedback on my last pitch (lol). But using the advice from all the other pitch reviews that we did in class I was able to modify my own. This time, I made my pitch shorter and more concise. I also stood up and although this may seem counter-intuitive, I delivered less excitement but that is not to say it was monotone. I simply made it less excessive in order to focus at the heart of what I was suggesting.

I have also had assignments where I received no comments. For my elevator pitch I only received one which was short and did not provide mush to work with. I did not see your video posted but editing your pitch so it is clearer I feel is the goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's frustrating when you don't receive any comments on an assignment, especially one that is so applicable to real life circumstances. However, I think you did a great job. Your pitch was clear, articulate, and confident. It seemed very well rehearsed (without seeming like you're reading off a script) and very relaxed. A little emotion isn't bad, but as you said, your tone did a better job of communicating the main message of your pitch.
